Leadership Training

PTA provides its members access to valuable training programs through on-site workshops as well as online training programs. PTA believes in building better PTAs and stronger PTA leaders through continuing education and development. By building knowledge and the capacity to lead, PTA is helping make every child's potential a reality. Training options include:

• Annual National PTA Convention—More than 60 workshops offered each June.
• E-learning—A full range of courses are available on www.pta.org, including PTA Basics, Conflict Management, Grant Writing, Running a Successful PTA Program, and Effective Advocacy for Your Child. All e-learning modules are useful for ongoing leadership development.
• National PTA Legislative Conference—Each February, in our nation’s capital, specific advocacy content is presented for PTA leaders to apply as they advocate for issues concerning children and public education.
