Attendees can choose to participate in a variety of special events and activities at the National PTA Convention. These events provide additional opportunities to meet with fellow PTA members and gain valuable experience for your PTA. Please note: Where prices are indicated, tickets may be purchased in advance during the registration process.

NEW! No Event Tickets

Register for events by May 14, 2010, as part of your convention registration, online or by mail. These selections will be noted in your confirmation; however, no tickets will be provided in your confirmation packet. Individuals that register for events in advance will have event codes added to their badges to gain access to each event. Badges are required for entry into all events.

Delegates Welcome Reception
Thursday, June 10, 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
All registered delegates are welcome to attend this free reception Thursday evening. Each state will welcome delegates to meet fellow PTA members, state leaders, and Parental Information and Resource Center (PIRC) representatives. Delegates can also get acquainted with exhibitors and begin sharing ideas and plans for the weekend’s activities. Complimentary appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. No ticket required.

State Presidents’ Club Luncheon
Friday, June 11, 12:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Tickets: $37 (includes $10 annual membership fee)
The State Presidents’ Club has met annually at the National PTA Convention since its first meeting in 1928. The club is comprised of past and current State PTA Presidents. Invitations will be sent out by e-mail and where needed through mail for this annual meeting and luncheon. Payment for your ticket(s) and booklet entries should be sent to Barb Quinn, 466 Franklin Lane, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Tickets for this event are not sold by National PTA and will not be offered through advance or onsite registration.

State Presidents' Club Luncheon Invitation

Convention Party—Hosted by Tennessee PTA
Friday, June 11, 7:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m.
Tickets: $35 each
Join host state Tennessee PTA for a special night of dining, dancing, and entertainment. Get ready for an unforgettable night of camaraderie and fun! Tickets are $35 each for the dinner and entertainment and can be purchased online or through the registration form. You can also purchase tickets on-site at convention in the registration area until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 10.

Arts in Education Celebration
Saturday, June 12, 12:30 p.m.–2:00 p.m.
Tickets: $35 each
This year’s arts in education event will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the PTA Reflections Program. Join in the celebration, enjoy outstanding entertainment and art, and learn more about the benefits of a quality arts education. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased online or through the registration form. You can also purchase tickets on-site at convention in the registration area until 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 11.
