 Alfred L. Tamagni, Jr. was elected during the 2009 PTA National Convention to serve as a member representative to the National PTA Board of Directors for a two-year term. Tamagni also serves on the National PTA membership committee. Tamagni has been a member of PTA for 15 years and has served in various leadership roles of PTA at the local, council, state, and national levels. He served as Alaska PTA president from 2007-2009. Al has also served as registrar for the Girl Scouts of America, Susitan Council-Midtown Unit. He is employed by the Anchorage Fire Department and is responsible for the financial management, personnel management, and overall operations of the center. Tamagni and his wife Amey have three daughters.
