Be creative as you plan your PTA Start the Art Week activities. Utilize community resources, including arts organizations, libraries, museums, theaters, and universities that may be located just outside your school doors. (Many museums host free days and events to make the arts available to everyone!) Send home notices asking parents to share their talents, resources, and/or time. Bringing arts programs into your school is a great way to engage parents and community members in the life of the school.
